Verbilki. The world of the soul

The village of Verbilki is an urban-type settlement located on the Dubna River, 90 km north of Moscow. This place is known in Russia for its porcelain factory, founded in the 18th century. The plant has long lost its importance as a city-forming enterprise. Unremarkable at first glance, the village attracted me with its rich history and hidden charm, which was revealed to me as I got acquainted with the people, nature and the magical atmosphere of this place. In the photos, I wanted to find and preserve the lost harmony. I turned to black and white photography, which is based on light. I was looking for it in people, nature and inside myself. I found clearness in simple things, such as the fall of a leaf or the flight of a bird, and realized the importance of contemplation for understanding the deep meaning of what is happening. It turned out that inner beauty, harmony and diversity are often nearby, you just need to want to see and love the world around you.
